Catholics in Alabama have set up a livestream of their 24/7 Adoration chapel!
That means someone is present, staying with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
This practice is known as Perpetual Adoration, and ensures that Jesus is always exposed and available for people in the community to come and visit. The longest known continuous prayer was a Perpetual Adoration by an order of religious Sisters– come back in a couple days to find out how long!
Got 40 minutes to spare? Venerable Fulton Sheen gives some more in-depth thoughts on why Adoration is so important.
