Still Waters
Have you ever found yourself in a place where your mind is constantly racing and your heart feels overwhelmed? It can be difficult to find peace in those moments, but the Lord offers us a place of rest in the stillness of His presence. In Psalm 23:2, David writes, "He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters."
Just as a shepherd leads his sheep to calm and refreshing waters, our Heavenly Father leads us to a place of peace and rest. We may face trials and challenges in this life, but we can trust in God's faithfulness to guide us through them. As we turn to Him in prayer and seek His presence, He promises to be with us and give us the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In John 14:27, Jesus tells us, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." The peace that Christ gives is not temporary or fleeting like the peace the world offers. It is a deep, abiding peace that comes from knowing Him and trusting in His promises.
Even in the midst of the storms of life, we can find stillness and rest in God's presence. In Psalm 46:10, the Lord says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" When we quiet our minds and hearts before Him, we can experience the fullness of His love and grace.
So today, let us find rest in the still waters of God's presence. Let us trust in His faithfulness to guide us through the trials of life, and let us cling to His promises of peace and rest. As we do, we can be assured that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) and that His love for us endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

You have parted the red sea
You have given water from the rock
Manna from heavenI won't forget all You have done
No one could love like this
Your Love is perfect
It is beautifulI don't want the promised land
Flowing with milk and honey
If Your Presence will not go with me
All is vanity to me
All is vanity to me
Without YouIf Your Presence will not go with me
I will stay here where I am
I will stay here where I am with youYou promised come what may
You're with me all the way
I'm riding through the waves
No more fear, no looking backYou promised come what may
You're with me all the way
I'm riding through the waves
No more fear, no looking backIt is okay to rest
It is okay to rest
You said it is okay to rest
It is okay to restCome to the still waters
Come to the green pastures
My Presence will go with you
And I will give you restCome to the still waters
Come to the green pastures
My Presence will go with you
And I will give you restWritten and sung by Elina Er
I’ll Be Still
This song is an encouragement and an invitation for those who have stepped out of where they were and are in transition.
We may be entering our new season but remember that God is our constant.
Wherever you are, God sees you and His plans for you are always good. Take a moment and be still.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
-
My child, come,
Won't you step out and trust Me?
There are plans that I see
Just keep your eyes on MeYou reached out Your hand
And so, at Your command
I stepped into the sea
But the waves, they engulfed me
I'm still in the storm
And the waves crash around me
The swirl around me
Makes it hard to breathe
How can I be still when I can't see?
You promised to never leave me
My child, take My hand
Just keep Your eyes on me
Take one step, then the next
Lean on Me and let Me leadI'm here, do not fear
Let Me wipe away your tears
Hear My voice above the noise
Here's My hand - will you trust Me?
I'll be still in the storm
As the waves crash around me
With the swirl still around me
I'll rest in You and breathe
I'll set my heart and mind upon Your truth
You promised You'll never leave me
I'll be stillWritten and sung by Chara Teh
A New Well
The well is not just a well of water , but a well of living waters and fruits. At the end of your toiling, your greatest reward is that the living waters in you will overflow in your life, and that you have the fruit of the spirit more evident in your life.
I saw that the Lord has given each of us a shovel to dig the well. He didn’t give a drill or a machine to make the process simple and fast. Which means that effort, persistency, and patience are needed from us. But He provides what we need to accomplish our assignment. And He gives us His grace and strength so that we do not need to rely on our own strength and effort.
It takes obedience, patience and reliance upon the Lord to press on in our journey.
The new well that the Lord gives will not be a place of striving and contention. You do not need to fight with others for it.
When our hearts are right in our service to the Lord, he gives us beyond what we ask for. We dig the wells for water, but he gives us His living water that never ceases, and we will find ourselves having the fruits of the spirit.
If you have receive your new well and are in a place of relief and rest, may this song remind you to give thanks to the Lord and celebrate what He has done in your life. If you are still pressing in for a breakthrough, begin to declare in faith and call forth for that new well that is ahead of you.
-
Though the well is a hundred feet deep
I’m not afraid to toil and dig
With the shovel in my hand
And the strength that You gaveBy Your grace and in Your time
You gave us full access to itA new well
A new well
A fountain of living waterA new well
A new well
I give You praise
I call Your nameThe season of toiling is over
It’s time to eat the fruit of our labourThe season of toiling is over
It’s time to eat the fruit of our labourThe Lord has made a room for us
My Jesus made a way for usA new well
A new well
A fountain of living waterA new well
A new well
I give You praise
I call Your nameWe shall be fruitful in the land

Springtime is Here
Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18-19
The verse above speaks of new things and new things are uncomfortable.
But surely as the winter changes to spring, as the animals wake up from their hibernation, flowers begin to bloom, the snow melts away, we know that as the Maker calls the season.
He also promises that whether we are in the wildnerness or in the desert, He will make a road for us.
-
There are changes that seasons will bring
Like how winter gives way to the spring
The snow melts away
When night turns to day
The dawn comes in bright arraySee the birds how they flutter and sing
And the blossoms bring radiant gleam
The warmth of the sun
The freshness has come
New seasons, new hope for the dayLook up and see the beauty of glory
The pinks, the blues, and thousands of hues
The Painter, the Maker of heaven is here
And He says, “Springtime is here.”Written and sung by Chara Teh
